We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Permit Coordinator to play a critical role in supporting our Production and Installation teams. In this position, you will manage the permitting process from application through approval, serving as the key liaison between our company, municipalities, and third-party partners.

What You'll Do

Permit Management & Coordination

  • Coordinate and manage residential permit applications with local municipalities and regulatory agencies.
  • Gather required documentation from Production Management to facilitate permit submissions.
  • Prepare, submit, and track permit applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and municipal offices throughout the permitting process.
  • Follow up proactively on permit statuses to ensure timely approvals and minimize project delays.
  • Coordinate with third-party permit runners and outside consultants as needed.

Project Support & Administration

  • Maintain accurate permitting records, reports, approvals, licenses, and related documentation.
  • Enter and update permitting information within the company CRM system.
  • Create and maintain permitting schedules and timelines.
  • Prepare job packages and supporting documentation for the Production Management Team.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years of residential permit processing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of municipal permitting procedures and requirements.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding follow-up, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities.
  • A sense of urgency and commitment to delivering results.
  • Public Notary License is a plus.
$22 - $22 an hour
