Job Description

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled BE/BC Obesity Medicine Fellowship trained Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in Geneva, IL and Kishwaukee, IL, located in the far western suburbs of Chicago.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-centered environment focused on delivering high-quality obesity management care. As an NM Obesity Medicine Internal Medicine Physician in our practice, you will have the ability to make a meaningful impact on patient care, work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and enjoy a work-life balance in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care for the medical management of patients with obesity and will be comfortable managing weight-related complications while building long-term relationships with patients and supporting the continued growth and development of comprehensive weight management services.  

Highlights:

  • Join a team of 1 Internal Medicine Physician, 3 Advanced Practice Providers, 3 Health Psychologists and 1 Dietician
  • Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexible schedule and work-life balance
  • Participate in call coverage at Northwestern Medicine
  • Lab services onsite
  • Provided support includes Nurses and Medical Assistants
