POSITION OVERVIEW:
Sub-specialty: General radiologist with breast and/or musculoskeletal expertise
Department: Radiology
Reports to: Chair, Department of Radiology - Northwestern Medical Center
Location: St. Albans, Vermont - Northwestern Medical Center
POSITION SUMMARY
We are searching for a general radiologist who is comfortable reading breast and/or musculoskeletal imaging at Northwestern Medical Center, located in St. Albans, VT. The ideal candidate would have training in general radiology and specialty training in breast/musculoskeletal. Northwestern Medical Center is a community, non-profit, state-of-the-art hospital with newly constructed, private inpatient rooms and offers 24/7 care in the emergency department with strong specialty backup. Northwestern Medical Center has won several awards, including National Recognition as a Top Community Hospital, Joint Commission National Quality Awards, and National Patient Satisfaction Awards. It has also been recognized as one of the "Most Wired" hospitals in America and has won national Avatar awards for "Overall Patient Satisfaction".

โ€ข Capable and willing to read breast and/or musculoskeletal imaging in addition to general radiology
โ€ข Breast/MSK procedures and lite IR procedures (thyroid biopsy, paracentesis, thoracentesis) preferred
โ€ข Day shift, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm

โ€ข Board Eligible or Certified, American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR)
โ€ข Required: Residency Trained, ACGME Accredited Radiology Program
โ€ข Will also consider General Radiologists who are proficient with Mammography; or those with fellowship training in Musculoskeletal, Body Imaging, Neuroradiology, or Emergency Radiology
