Job description

Responsibilities

Provides Health Information support to the practice on documentation, and release of information; the legal department; billing (GCS & Northside) and internal audit departments, patients, external agencies, and attorneys while providing internal and external customer service.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:1. A high school diploma; one year of medical records/healthcare experience;

2. One year of business office knowledge (i.e. telephone and fax) and proficient typing skills.

3. Working knowledge of operating a PC to include use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.

4. Good verbal and written communication skills.

PREFERRED:Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) and/or RHIT eligible.

Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM):8:30-5:00Weekend Requirements:NoOn-Call Requirements:NoEmployment Type: FULL_TIME
