Mobile Laser amp; Ultrasound Technologist
Position Overview
Mobile Laser amp; Ultrasound Technologists complete multiple functions which enable Northern Litho, LLC/UroTherapies, LLC to provide unsurpassed urological services to its physicians, patients and facilities. The Technician will be knowledgeable in the operation and functions of their laser, scope, disposables and related equipment to locate, target and treat calculi. Uses ultrasound equipment to help visualize internal anatomy functions; provides safety and comfort at all times.
Location: Westchester/Bronx, NY
Essential Job Functions
• Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern
• Positioning the patient for treatment while following proper safety procedures
• Assist the Radiologists during the procedures
• Make sure essential paperwork for procedure is completed and signed by patient
• Follow all established policies and procedures
• Safely transports the lasers, scopes, disposables, and accessory case (“equipment”) to and from treatment locations
• Maintain equipment and report machinery failure
• Work under minimal supervision and cooperate with other team members
Non-essential Job Functions
• Ordering supplies for equipment as needed
• Schedule preventive maintenance on equipment
• Secure all equipment for transportation and set up for treatment locations
Requirements
• Minimum of one to three years of experience
• Must be state certified
• Must have diagnostic medical sonography certification
• Must have all updated immunizations required for position
Other Skills/Competencies
• Responsible for keeping equipment clean at all times
• Make sure the schedule is updated daily
• Must have excellent communication skills
COMPENSATION:
  • Pay: $28 an hour.
  • Education and experience may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The hourly pay range is competitive for this position with a guarantee that your hours will always be a minimum of 40 hours per week.
