Experienced Caregiver โ€“ North County (Vista)

Company: FirstLight Home Care
Location: Vista, CA
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time
Shifts: Day, evening, and weekend shifts available


Position Summary

FirstLight Home Care is seeking experienced caregivers to provide in-home care services to seniors throughout North County San Diego, with current needs in and around Vista.

This role is ideal for caregivers who are dependable, professional, and comfortable supporting clients with a range of care needs, from companionship to hands-on personal care. Caregivers in this role should be open to working across inland and coastal North County as needed.


Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and emotional support

  • Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)

  • Support mobility and perform safe transfers

  • Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping

  • Accompany clients to errands and appointments as needed

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment

  • Communicate clearly with clients, families, and office staff


Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience preferred (home care, assisted living, or similar)

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Reliable transportation and valid driverโ€™s license

  • Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or willingness to obtain (assistance provided)

  • TB test completed within the last 90 days

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, as required by law

  • CNA certification preferred but not required
