Job description

POSITION: Assistant Nordic Ski Coach for Scott West Nordic Skiing.
SUMMARY: This role works closely with the head coach to deliver high-quality training sessions, foster athlete development, and help create a positive, inclusive team culture. Responsibilities include assisting with daily practice, providing on-snow technical instruction, supporting strength and dryland training, coordinating equipment needs, and helping manage race-day logistics such as waxing, athlete warm-ups, and course preparation. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with student-athletes of varying experience levels. A background in Nordic skiing, endurance sports, or coaching is preferred, along with the ability to make hard work really fun. This position plays a meaningful role in shaping athletes' confidence, skill progression, and love for the sport. All other coaching duties as assigned by Head Coach/Activities Director.
SALARY: $1,000 - $2,000
REPORTS TO: Activities Director and Head Coach
QUALIFICATIONS:







  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Prior coaching experience preferred
