Role Overview: International Tax Manager
Arlington, VA | In office, Monday - Friday
As CoStar Group continues to expand globally, we are excited to welcome an International Tax Manager who is energized by growth, fast-paced change, and meaningful impact. This role is ideal for a detail driven tax professional who enjoys hands-on technical work across multiple countries.
In partnership with our accounting teams and external advisors, you'll support our international tax accounting, reporting, and compliance efforts. Your work will help ensure CoStar Group meets global tax requirements while enabling informed, forward looking business decisions.
You will report directly to the Head of Tax.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support quarterly and annual ASC 740 reporting for international entities.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT filings.

  • Assist with international income tax returns across 14+ jurisdictions.

  • Contribute to transfer pricing documentation including Country by Country Reports, Master Files, and Local Files.

  • Conduct research on international tax issues and contribute to tax planning strategies.

  • Partner with the Accounting team to ensure accurate data capture for tax accounting and compliance.

  • Maintain and reconcile international tax accounts.

  • Assist with international tax audits, notices, and inquiries.

  • Support tax reporting requirements for international statutory accounts.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university.

  • 8+ years of progressive, total experience.
  • 4+ years of experience within a Big 4 firm or public accounting firm.

  • 3+ years of experience in international tax at a largescale international organization (in-house experience).

  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.

  • Proficiency with RIA Checkpoint.

  • Hands on experience with ASC 740.

  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP tax accounting principles.

  • Experience using tax research tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting with CPA.

  • Experience with OneSource Tax Provision.

  • Experience working with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
