Conducts workshops, in-service sessions, and continuing education programs to support staff development and regulatory compliance.</li> <li>Designs and implements processes to assess, validate, and document clinical competencies for nursing and clinical staff. Collaborates with unit leaders and preceptors to ensure competency-based performance appraisals align with organizational and regulatory standards. Monitors and evaluates clinical staff performance and competency attainment through observation, simulation, and outcome-based metrics.</li> <li>Maintains a thorough understanding of state and federal regulations, including Joint Commission standards, to ensure compliance in all clinical education programs. Serves as a subject matter expert on clinical practices, providing guidance on regulatory updates, clinical policies, and procedures. Leads initiatives to integrate evidence-based practices into clinical workflows and education programs.</li> <li>Collaborates with clinical managers and leaders to identify knowledge gaps and training needs, aligning educational initiatives with strategic goals. Serves as a mentor and resource for clinical staff, fostering a supportive learning environment. Exercises discretion and independent judgment in tailoring educational interventions to address complex clinical challenges and organizational priorities.
