Mitchell County Regional Health Center is in Osage, Iowa located in Mitchell County, which has a population of 10,600 people. MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.

JOB SUMMARY
The Diagnostic Radiographer will provide patient care by producing diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by the radiologists in the Imaging Services Department at Mitchell County Regional Health Center.
Shifts: Day shift with rotating call/weekend package
  • Weekend on-call from Friday Night, 530 pm on-call/call back - 7 am $250
  • Weekend rate to include: $700
    • Saturday 8:30 am - 12:30 pm as regular xray hours
    • Saturday 7:00 am - 8:30 am on-call/call back
    • Saturday 12:30 pm - Sunday 6 pm on-call/call back
  • Weekend on-call from Sunday Night, 6 pm on-call/call back - 7 am $250
  • Non-weekend hourly rate (ie: training, picking up extra shifts during week) $_____
  • Non-weekend on-call rate $3.00 per hour
  • If unable to fulfill the entire weekend schedule, you will be paid your non-weekend hourly rates for actual hours worked or on-call rate.
  • You agree to work 1 weekend a month, except in extenuating circumstances, discussed with Imaging Services Director.

PRN employees will work a minimum of six shifts during a six-month period, including:
One weekend every six months if applicable.
One holiday each year if applicable.
