Did you know that when natural gas is supercooled at -260F or -162C, it turns into a liquid state known as liquefied natural gas (LNG)? As a clear colorless, odorless, non-toxic liquid, the volume of LNG is about 600 times smaller than its gaseous state! The liquefaction process allows natural gas to be used as transportation fuel and ships by sea all over the world via specialized LNG vessels.

THIS ROLE IS LOCATED IN ROUGEMONT, NORTH CAROLINA
What You Will Do:
As an LNG Technician I, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
Monitor all station prime movers and compressors, including load adjustment, alarm monitoring and initial response as required.
Assist with operating and maintaining all equipment associated with liquefying and vaporizing natural gas
Applying PIDs and PFDs for assisting with troubleshooting process issues and implementing gas handling procedures and LOTOs (Lock Out, Tag Out)
Assists with controlling and continuously monitoring compression and process variables at the LNG facility.
Assist with maintaining the plant and associated equipment for the purposes of liquefying and vaporizing liquid natural gas.
Maintain buildings, grounds, and all in-plant piping and conduits.
Assists others in routine troubleshooting and repair of station equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
