METAL FABRICATION (ORNAMENTAL, ARCHITECTURAL AND SOME STRUCTURAL)

Full Time opening for a skilled and motivated fabricator/welder to fill a vacancy in our busy non union shop.

We are a high end Ornamental Metal Fabrication shop located in Bartlett, IL looking to grow our team. We fabricate a lot of custom railings, gates, fencing, stairs, doors and much more. We mainly use carbon steel but also have aluminum, stainless steel, bronze, and brass projects. We work on both residential and commercial projects.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of hand tools
  • Ability to understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature
  • Effective English reading and writing communication skills
  • Ability to operate different industrial tools, and to troubleshoot equipment problems
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift in excess of fifty pounds
  • Ability to drive with a valid license when asked
  • Have prior experience in Ornamental Metal Fabrication and Installation
  • Layout projects, measure, cutting, sawing and bending
  • Welding experience or AWS certification
  • Hand Grinding experience
  • Plasma Cutting experience
  • Prepare, Fabricate and Weld various project
