Job description

HealthWays, Inc. located in Weirton, WV is accepting applications for a Full-Time Registered Nurse.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program with WV R.N. License and two (2) years’ experience; clinical nursing experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing or experience serving ID/DD preferred.

Driver’s license and auto insurance is required.

This position provides nursing services to a developmentally disabled population and psychiatric nursing services to individuals having mental disabilities. The duties include but are not limited to the coordination of and the providing of medical services in cooperation with authorized personnel to clients, including completing Personal Care Certification, Nursing Plans of Care as well as needed AMAP and medication training and record keeping. Providing medical treatment as required, but not limited to administering medication and giving injections, as well as other treatment modalities as needed.

On call and traveling to local off-site facilities may be required, otherwise this position provides outpatient nursing services Monday through Friday during the day.
