Job Title: Part-Time Pharmacy Prior Authorization Specialist Rate: $30-35/hour Schedule: Part-Time, Fully Remote

About the Role: We're a growing health data startup looking for a detail-oriented professional to help us review and categorize clinical prior authorization (PA) policy documents for high-cost specialty medications, including biologics.

This is not a patient-facing or PA processing role. Instead, you'll be reading payer policy documents and recording coverage requirements into structured fields. This role is best for someone who enjoys careful document review, is highly consistent, and can work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Review PA policy documents for specialty drugs.
  • Categorize requirements using structured definitions.
  • Record results accurately.
  • Flag unclear or ambiguous cases.
  • Maintain consistency and accuracy across a large volume of documents.

What You'll Need:

  • 1+ year of experience in pharmacy, pharmacy benefits, or prior authorization (specialty pharmacy a plus).
