Position Profile

Responsible for the planning and coordination of projects and activities for designated web-related and other projects for the agency. Assures quality customer service to all customers; promotes positive human relationships and contributes to supportive and cooperative work environment.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects (internet and others) to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame, budget and functional specification parameters.
  • Set and manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • On web-related projects, works closely with IS/HOV staff members.
  • Consults with IS management to identify focal point areas to apply project management skills.
  • Serve as primary liaison with outside vendors(s), web and others as projects dictate, to successfully manage internet related and other projects from beginning to end.
  • Prepare status reports summarizing activities.
  • Works with internal technicians to troubleshoot technical problems with Internet based programs.
  • Maintains and enhances professional skills.
  • Adheres to high standards of personal and professional conduct.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Information Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive project management, Information Technology, or media management experience to include three years in vendor manager role.
  • Broad knowledge of Information Technology general functions (e.g., desktop computer software, Internet Technologies, HIPPA regulations).
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Windows.
  • Excellent communication skills and organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare background.
