Multi-Family Housing Apartment Relocation Specialist
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Relocation Specialist to coordinate and support the relocation of residents from one property or location to another. This position will manage multiple moving parts throughout the relocation process, ensuring residents, property teams, vendors, and leadership have accurate and timely information.Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate resident relocations from one location/property to another.
  • Maintain accurate Excel spreadsheets and tracking reports for relocation activities, resident information, move dates, unit assignments, and completion status.
  • Coordinate relocation schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Communicate with residents regarding relocation timelines, requirements, appointments, and next steps.
  • Work closely with Property Managers, Regional Managers, maintenance teams, vendors, and other departments to coordinate successful moves.
  • Track resident progress and follow up on outstanding items or required documentation.
  • Manage multiple resident relocations simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Identify potential issues or delays and communicate them promptly to management.
  • Maintain organized electronic files and documentation related to relocations.
  • Prepare reports and provide regular updates on relocation progress.
  • Assist with coordinating movers, transportation, unit readiness, inspections, and other relocation-related activities as needed.
  • Handle sensitive resident information with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties related to the relocation process as assigned.

Working Conditions
  • Primarily works in a residential apartment community environment.
  • May be exposed to occupied construction or renovation areas.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to accommodate resident move schedules or project deadlines.

This role is non-exempt with a pay range of $20 - $25 an hour for a new employee depending on a number of relevant factors including individuals’ experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, client/property or company budgetary limitations/guidelines, and other job-related company and market considerations.  You may be eligible to receive discretionary and/or performance-based bonuses on a spot or annual basis, which are variable depending on individual merit/performance, budgetary limitations, company performance, and other job-related factors.  This non-exempt role will be eligible for overtime for all hours worked in excess of 40 per week.  Full-time positions (30+ hours/week) are eligible for 2 weeks paid vacation, sick and related leave, 11 paid holidays, and health & welfare benefits as outlined on the Company’s website.  To learn more about our company go to: https://pratumco.com/
