Job description

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS-FULL TIME - CREW CHIEF:

  • Competitive hourly wages starting at $20.00-$26.00 per hour with opportunity for tips and overtime; sign on bonus for experienced crew chief meeting set  criteria can earn up to $10,000.00!
    • Top Crew Chiefs (traditionally known as Foreman) earnings can range between $50,000 and $80,000 per year (wages, tips, referral incentives, bonus included)
    • Sign on Bonus of $10,000.00 paid in first year with criteria to meet for payments
  • Full time schedule - Tell us when you are available

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have 1-3 years moving industry foreman experience 
  • Must have non CDL truck driver experinece 
  • Above average energy, attention to detail, and organization skills
  • Ability to lift 50-75+ pounds regularly
  • Ability to be on your feet 6 to 10 hours a day
  • Must be a team player and ready to tackle any challenge
  • Available for on-time very early a.m. dispatch
  • High school or GED equivalent

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Every day is different, but you will be expected to:
  • Always represent Olympia Moving to the best of your ability
  • Lead, train, and mentor a moving team
  • Communicate with clients as the primary on-site contact
  • Collaborate with operations, warehouse, and staff
  • Use your resources to solve problems and overcome obstacles
  • Work on both residential and commercial moving jobs
  • Train and coach others on how to pack household items; from books to dishes to antiques
  • Assist with and direct team to carry heavy items up & down stairs
  • Ensure crew protects the home: doors, stairs, floors and walls and protect furniture and equipment with moving pads
  • Train and assist others on best practices to disassemble & re-assemble furniture and equipment
  • Complete billing, paperwork, inventories and reporting on a mobile platform
