Job description

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable day/night shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 7-week contract
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units, with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• No on-call requirements, but eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Unit may low census in 4-hour increments, requiring work of only 4 or 8 hours of scheduled shift
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility location
• 2 years minimum experience required with 1 travel assignment preferred
• Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong neuro assessment skills required
• Experience with EVDs and ICP monitoring needed
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NIHSS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Care for 8-bed Neuro unit with stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients
• Perform neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation
• Assist with neuro-specific procedures including bolt and drain bedside placements
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be able to work independently and manage change effectively
