Join our dynamic US Majors Territory East team as an overlay Broadband Account Manager, where you'll play a crucial role in expanding broadband access across the Eastern Territory. Working remotely with periodic travel, you'll engage directly with other regional account managers to win and delivery impactful broadband infrastructure projects to rural and regional service providers. Your expertise will help bridge the digital divide and create opportunities for everyday Americans, making your work personally and professionally rewarding.

Responsibilities
  • Lead pre-sales and post-sales engagements focused on Nokia's Fixed Networks portfolio as regional overlay customer interface.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across operator roles (CxO, engineering, operations, marketing).
  • Partner with regional account managers and sales engineers to identify customer challenges and deliver innovative solutions, driving orders effectively.
  • Articulate and promote Nokia's vision on cutting-edge technologies and solutions to enhance customer engagement.
  • Position Nokia as a thought leader in the industry by communicating key technological developments to customers.
  • Support the maintenance of an accurate sales forecast in Salesforce.com, identifying high, medium, and low probability opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to craft tailored proposals for solutions and services that meet customer needs.
  • Commit to ongoing training to enhance sales skills and deepen product knowledge, embracing 30-50% travel for client interactions.

Qualifications
You have:
  • At least 7 years of telecom experience in positioning Broadband solutions in a territory environment, focusing on direct sales to customers such as Rural service providers, Utilities, Electric Coops, State, Local, and Municipalities.
  • Detailed knowledge of the Nokia Fixed Networks products and solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of the competitive telecom industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in forecasting and managing opportunities using Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a complex selling environment, driving consistent strategy across multiple customer sets.
  • Proven strategic thinking to leverage technical, marketing, end-user, and industry insights for mutual success.

It would be nice if you also had:
  • Knowledge of Nokia IP or Optical products and solutions.
  • Prior experience working with consultants for service providers, utilities, and municipalities.
  • Ability to take initiative and lead in the absence of direct supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
