Job description

Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Node.js Developer to lead backend development for security and vulnerability remediation programs. The ideal candidate has strong Node.js expertise, experience working with security teams, and exposure to healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance Node.js services supporting vulnerability management and remediation workflows

  • Build secure, scalable APIs and automation for scanning, reporting, and patching processes

  • Partner with security, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to triage and resolve high-risk vulnerabilities

  • Implement secure coding standards, conduct code reviews, and drive best practices

  • Optimize system performance, reliability, and monitoring in cloud environments

  • Produce technical documentation and support cross-functional teams during incident response

Required Skills:

  • 6–10+ years of backend development experience with deep expertise in Node.js

  • Strong knowledge of security fundamentals, vulnerability management, and API security

  • Experience integrating with scanners, SIEM, or security platforms (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Splunk)

  • Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred)

  • Solid understanding of microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD, and containerization

  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare industry experience (HIPAA, PHI handling, secure healthcare workflows)
