Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant to our Primary Care office at Baptist Primary Care Nocatee Pediatrics in Jacksonville, Florida. This opening is a Full-Time opportunity.

This position is for the Baptist Primary Care Nocatee Pediatrics office. The position is for back office. The candidate will be responsible for administering vaccines and taking vitals manually.

As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Provides nursing assistance to physician
  • Obtains vital signs
  • Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
  • Maintains medical documentation
  • Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
  • Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements:

  • 2-5 Years Experience working in a Medical Office Preferred
  • 2 years Medical Assistant Experience Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • Associate's degree Preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Preferred
