Job description

Outpatient Radiation RN – Oncology

California RN license (active at time of submission) required. BLS certification needed. Minimum three years oncology RN experience (MedSurg oncology experience acceptable). Experience with peripheral IV starts and venipuncture. Wound assessment and wound care experience required. Familiarity with outpatient radiation oncology processes and safety. Experience with charting in Epic.

Start IVs and perform venipuncture. Triage patient calls and assess patient needs. Provide patient education regarding treatment and care. Monitor medication side effects. Perform wound assessments and provide appropriate care.

Flu vaccine required with no exemptions. COVID-19 vaccine not required. Two supervisor references from within the past year required at time of submission. Background license checks must clear any issues prior to start.
