Job description

Most estate planning attorneys lose 40-60% of their time to non-billable work-marketing, intake, scheduling, and paperwork.

In this role, you meet only with prepared, pre-qualified clients, while our team handles everything before and after the consultation so you can focus on high-value legal work.

What you'll do

  • Provide estate planning, asset protection, Medicaid/special needs planning, and business formation services.
  • Review pre-collected intake documents and conduct thorough client meetings.
  • Deliver practical, personalized legal strategies supported by a dedicated back-office team.

Requirements

Ideal attorney
  • Active Virginia bar license in good standing.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
  • 3+ years of estate planning experience, including Medicaid asset protection.
  • Comfortable managing legal matters independently and conducting virtual client consultations.
  • Multi-state bar licensure preferred.
  • Tax planning, business formation, and special needs planning experience are a plus.
  • Experience handling sensitive family or Medicaid planning conversations with clients is a plus.
  • Experience advising small-business owners on formation matters is a plus.
  • An LL.M. in estate planning or tax is a plus.
