About the Role

We're looking for a Creative Specialist (Fresh Graduate) to join our growing US Marketing team in Austin, supporting our Paid Marketing efforts. In this role, you'll create and edit the ad creative that powers our paid social and paid search campaigns, and work closely with our Growth Marketing team to understand how that creative performs so we can do more of what works.

This is a hands-on, junior role suited to someone early in their career who's equal parts creative and curious about the numbers behind the work.

Note: This role is based in Austin, Texas.

What You'll Own
  • Create and edit ad creative (static, video, and copy) for paid social and paid search campaigns across channels like Meta, TikTok, and Google

  • Adapt creative across formats and placements, iterating quickly based on performance and campaign needs

  • Partner with Growth Marketing to understand creative performance, pulling basic metrics (CTR, CPA, conversion rate) and translating them into clear takeaways

  • Run creative testing (A/B variants, hooks, formats) to identify what resonates and feed learnings back into future briefs

  • Maintain a creative calendar and asset library, keeping campaigns stocked with fresh, on-brand content

  • Ensure all creative reflects ShopBack's brand voice and visual guidelines while adapting to each platform's best practices

  • Support other partnership campaigns with paid creative as needed

  • Take on ad-hoc creative and marketing projects as priorities shift

Essentials to Succeed
  • Ideally 1-2 years of experience in content creation, paid social/performance marketing, or design (internships count)

  • Hands-on experience with design or editing tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut) for both static and video content

  • Comfortable reading basic performance data and using it to inform creative decisions, not just making things look good

  • Strong eye for visual and written brand consistency across fast-moving, multi-format campaigns

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple concurrent creative requests against deadlines

  • A collaborative team player who works well across functions (Growth, BD, Design)

  • Genuine interest in e-commerce, cashback, or rewards is a plus

  • Familiarity with AI tools for creative ideation, editing, or workflow is a plus

ShopBacker Traits
  • Agency - We take ownership and act, rather than waiting for permission. When something's blocking progress, we find a way through it and follow through until it's done.
  • Judgement - We aim for high-impact decisions, not just easy wins, and we put the bigger picture ahead of individual interests. That means moving quickly and confidently, while staying thoughtful about when a call really matters.
  • Learning Velocity - We pick up new skills fast and let go of old habits just as quickly when something better comes along. We benchmark ourselves against the best and keep raising our own bar.
  • Tenacity - We stay in it when things get hard, keeping a level head under pressure. We debate openly before deciding, then commit fully — and support each other along the way.
What's in it for ShopBackers
  • Career growth opportunities to take on greater challenges that help you realise your ambitions.
  • Be part of a winning team on a journey to global scale.
  • Competitive compensation based on performance.
  • Candid, open, and collaborative culture where feedback is valued.
