FedEx Ground Pick Up and Delivery Driver for Routes in Chino, CA

D5 Logistics, Inc. is hiring Delivery Drivers for the Chino Terminal
D5 Logistics, Inc. is a package & delivery- FedEx Ground Independent Service Provider (ISP), operating out of Chino servicing Chino Hills. We are looking to hire friendly, honest, enthusiastic, hardworking, safety-minded, dependable drivers! No Experience needed, we provide the training, vehicle and all the tools you need to become a successful delivery driver.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • This Position is working for independent contractor who contracts with FedEx Ground out of the Chino, Ca terminal
Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of delivery vehicle daily
  • Organize preloaded products in step vans, box trucks, and or transits vehicles according to companys specifications
Attend team meetings
Complete continuing Safety trainings
  • Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle
  • Use a handheld device for routing information and customer delivery information
  • Delivery and pick up packages to and from customers on assigned routes
  • Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area
  • Maintain ongoing communication with management team
Maintain clean vehicle and tools
Help neighboring routes when needed
  • Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation
    • Lift packages up to 75lbs unassisted and up to 150lbs with dolly
    • Get in and out of the delivery vehicles and walk up and down stairs throughout your shift
Basic Requirements
  • Trainee drivers willing to work hard and learn fast or pre-approved individuals eligible to drive for FedEx or experienced drivers.
  • Drivers will deliver 100-250 stops per day so good physical fitness is ESSENTIAL.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have conversational English
  • Must be punctual, energetic, reliable, and honest
  • Must have a valid regular Class -C California Drivers License. CDL is not required.
  • Must be able to pass DOT Physical
Must have a clean driving record (No DUI, No Suspensions, No cell phone violations, and no moving violations in the past 3 years).
Must be able to pass a detailed background check (No misdemeanor, No felonies).
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test administered by a third party-Medical Review Personal (5-panel test including Marijuana (THC), Opioids, Phencyclidine (PCR), Cocaine, and Amphetamines). That includes ABSOLUTELY no marijuana in the last 45 days.

Compensation & Benefits-
