Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, observant, and proactive Roaming Security Guard to help ensure the safety and well-being of our guests, staff, and property. The ideal candidate will have a customer-friendly attitude, strong situational awareness, and a calm demeanor in handling security matters in a high-traffic, outdoor environment. A key aspect of this role includes managing crowd flow and pedestrian safety at crosswalks and other high-traffic areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol the property on foot to monitor for suspicious or unsafe activity.
  • Maintain a visible presence to deter theft, vandalism, or unsafe behavior.
  • Manage crowd control at designated crosswalks, helping ensure pedestrian safety and smooth flow of both foot and vehicle traffic.
  • Monitor entry/exit points, parking lots, event spaces, and farm attractions.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, or guest concerns in a calm and professional manner.
  • Provide assistance to guests and staff as needed, including lost and found, minor first aid, or crowd control.
  • Communicate with other staff and management via radio and report safety concerns promptly.
  • Assist with traffic and crowd flow during peak times or special events.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety rules, policies, and procedures.
