Your role:
Procurement and Travel Support Specialist
What you'll do all day:
The successful candidate for this position should have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively execute our procurement needs. They should also regularly research new suppliers and ensure that all purchased materials and products meet our specifications.
This individual should also regularly review the expenses and ensure that they are following the Federal Travel Regulations. They should work with other leaders in the organization to ensure that the goals of the procurement process are achieved in a timely manner.

Minimum requirements for this position:
  • Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role
  • Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills

  • Experience in performing price analysis for both competitive and non-competitive procurements
  • Experience with reviewing and assisting in writing sole source justifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing and resource planning systems
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or a similar field preferred but not required.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Security Clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen
