Multimedia Designer (Graphic Design, Motion Graphics & Video)

Sterling E-Marketing is looking for a talented Multimedia Designer to join our creative team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

If you're the kind of creative who enjoys designing eye-catching ads, building engaging social content, creating motion graphics, and producing video that drives results, we'd love to meet you.

At Sterling, you'll work on campaigns for automotive retailers and regional brands across the country, collaborating with strategists, account managers, copywriters, and fellow creatives to develop advertising that stands out in a crowded marketplace.

No two days look the same. One day you may be creating social media content and digital ads. The next, you'll be animating motion graphics, editing video, or helping bring a major campaign concept to life.

What You'll Do

As a Multimedia Designer, you'll help create compelling marketing campaigns across digital, social, video, and traditional media.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design digital advertising, social media content, display ads, email campaigns, and print materials
  • Create motion graphics, animated content, and video assets for social, digital, OTT, and broadcast platforms
  • Edit video content and develop visual storytelling that captures attention and drives engagement
  • Collaborate with creative, strategy, and account teams to develop campaign concepts and creative solutions
  • Translate marketing objectives into effective visual communication
  • Maintain brand consistency while bringing fresh creative ideas to every project
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail
  • Stay current with emerging design trends, animation techniques, and creative technologies

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a creative professional who combines strong design fundamentals with motion graphics and multimedia skills.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design, multimedia design, marketing, advertising, or a related creative field
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design, motion graphics, video, and visual storytelling capabilities
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including:
    • Photoshop
    • Illustrator
    • After Effects
    • Premiere Pro
  • Strong understanding of typography, composition, branding, color theory, and visual hierarchy
  • Experience creating content for digital and social media platforms
  • Ability to take projects from concept through final execution
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agency, advertising, or marketing experience
  • Experience with video production and editing
  • Photography or videography experience
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools and workflows
  • Experience with 3D design or animation tools
  • Automotive or retail marketing experience
