Common responsibilities include preparing the patient for the visit, maintaining efficient patient flow, assisting the provider with treatments and procedures, medication administration, support for clerical functions to include scheduling, referrals, authorization and in-basket support with the electronic medical records.

Sign on available for qualified candidates

  • Responsible for performing medical assistant procedures after completion of competency within organizations MA scope of work, under the supervision of a provider and PHS policy.
  • Assists with procedures as determined by provider
  • Participates with care team to meet patient care and clinic needs, working cooperatively with others to accomplish required work in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of Presbyterian MA Advanced Skills Training within 12 months of hire
  • BLS required at time of hire.
  • High School Diploma or GED
