SCOPE OF ROLE:

The Manufacturing Equipment Technician will serve as a technical resource supporting Finishing operations, with primary responsibility for ensuring the performance, reliability, and mechanical integrity of Filters Finishing equipment. This role will execute maintenance practices, troubleshoot mechanical and electromechanical issues, and uphold equipment standards aligned with operational and quality requirements. The technician will support activities with external equipment vendors while aligning with Manufacturing Engineering, Finishing Value Stream team, and Facilities team, to maintain equipmentuptime and reliability targets. High performance in this role will directly contribute to optimized asset utilization, reduced unplanned downtime, and sustained operational throughput.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

PROCESS DEVELOPMENT:

This technician will execute the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program for production equipment within our Finishing operations. Responsibilities include supporitng vendor-performed maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to service intervals, and proactively managing critical spareparts inventory to sustain operational readiness. This technician will partner with Manufacturing Engineering to execute process improvement opportunities that drive improved machine performance, productivity gains, and/or cost reductions. Success in this role will be measured by improved uptime, machine functionality restoration time, process improvements, and sense of urgency to address production concerns.

FILTERS PRODUCTION SUPPORT:

This technician will be a technical resource for daily production support and rootcause analysis on equipment utilized in filter shaping, cleaning, beveling, laser engraving, and assembly processes. The role is expected to rapidly resolve mechanical, electromechanical, and processrelated issues to sustain production flow and ensure equipment operates within defined performance parameters. Key success factors include clear & timely communication with crossfunctional teams, focused minimization of unplanned equipment downtime, and consistent maintenance of internal production yield targets directly affected by equipment capability and reliability.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing capacity
  • Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining equipment and tooling
  • Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to interface with the organization and value stream partners
  • Supported developing new processes

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude
  • Able to troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to identify the root cause
  • Can lead maintenance initiatives.
  • Organized, motivated, and able to prioritize tasks.
  • Organized and disciplined in maintaining Maintenance Area.
  • Have a passion to succeed in all aspects of the position, be of the highest integrity; customer focused and is committed to the paradigm of continuous improvement
  • This position is a site-based role.

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $48,000.00 - $72,000.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
