Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated, efficient, dependable, safety minded and hardworking irrigation technician. The ideal candidates can work with minimal oversight but are willing to follow directions closely. The candidates must be teachable, willing to learn and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

BASIC FUNCTION: _ Perform grounds keeping and all job duties with excellence.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:

  • Work approx. 6:30am to 2:30pm; Monday through Friday; Some Saturdays (Days and times may vary)
  • Operate a push and/or riding lawn mower, landscape hand tools, Irrigation knowledge and experience
  • Must be able to use a shovel to dig holes for installing plants.
  • Properly dispose of/remove wastewater and barricade necessary drains' ensuring that all work performed is EPA compliant.
  • Maintain all equipment and provide quality service at every job.
  • Perform quality maintenance inspections and repairs on all assigned projects, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Comfort working outside in extreme weather fluctuations.
  • Must be willing to travel from location to location in a truck with a trailer attached.
  • Must live within 60 miles of the Temecula/Murrieta/Wildomar area.

Experience: Landscape and/or maintenance is a Plus, but not required.

License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company. Appearance: Employees will be required to wear the provided company attire and maintain a neat and clean appearance.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

  • Regularly required to bend, stand, squat, stoop, walk, push, pull, reach, handle and/or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Always required to wear the appropriate safety equipment for the task, which may include gloves, goggles, aprons, belts, etc.
  • Must be able to lift, up to 70 lbs. on daily basis.
