These positions typically focus on tasks like data entry, system support, and assisting with electronic health records (EHR) management. Employers may seek candidates with educational backgrounds in health informatics, IT, or healthcare, but on-the-job training is often provided. Common job titles include Health Informatics Assistant, EHR Support Specialist, and Data Entry Clerk. These roles offer a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow into more advanced informatics positions over time.

You might also collaborate with clinical and IT staff to streamline patient information flow or support quality improvement projects. Entry-level roles are designed to give you exposure to standard software and healthcare processes, providing a solid foundation for more advanced responsibilities as you learn.
