Employers often provide on-the-job training, allowing new hires to learn basic construction skills and safety procedures. These positions are a good starting point for those looking to begin a career in construction and can lead to more specialized roles over time.

As a new construction worker with no experience, you can typically expect on-the-job training and close supervision from more experienced team members. Many companies pair newcomers with seasoned workers who provide guidance on safe tool use, basic construction techniques, and site safety protocols. Most construction teams foster a collaborative environment, so don't hesitate to ask questions or request feedback—this is key to your growth and success in the field.
