Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Java Developer to support the modernization and enhancement of a large application.

This role is ideal for an experienced Java developer who enjoys modernizing enterprise applications, working across web technologies, and collaborating with a large development team to deliver high-quality solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications
• Support modernization and upgrades of customer-facing government applications
• Develop and enhance web application functionality using Java, JSON, and XML
• Analyze requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Test, debug, and troubleshoot application and production issues
• Develop technical specifications, workflows, and supporting documentation
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business teams throughout the development lifecycle
• Support application deployments, enhancements, and ongoing modernization efforts

What You’ll Need

• Application development or related experience
• Strong Java development experience, including JDK 21
• Experience working with JSON and XML
