To begin a career as a Close Protection Officer with no experience, you typically need a high school diploma, physical fitness, and completion of accredited close protection or security training courses. Familiarity with surveillance equipment, communication devices, and first aid certification are often required. Strong situational awareness, discretion, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are crucial soft skills in this field. Applicants are typically required to have qualities like attention to detail, physical fitness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
