Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Close Protection Officer for a full and part-time position at a secure site in Bunker Hill, WV.

Key Responsibilities

1. General Duties

  • Perform consistent, thorough patrols of the site.

  • Control site access, permitting only authorized personnel.

  • Monitor for and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.

2. Patrol & Surveillance

  • Patrol critical areas such as entrances, equipment zones, and restricted areas.

  • Check for signs of tampering, intrusion, or other security risks.

  • Ensure all access points are locked and secured.

  • Use surveillance systems and access control tools effectively.

3. Incident Response

  • React promptly to security alarms and emergencies.

  • Intervene in cases of trespassing, vandalism, or theft.

  • Liaisonย with law enforcement/emergency services as necessary.

  • File detailed incident reports and documentation.

4. Safety & Emergency Preparedness

  • Identify fire hazards, spills, or unsafe conditions.

  • Assist in emergency evacuations and responses.

  • Support medical emergencies when needed.

5. Communication & Customer Service

  • Interact courteously and professionally with staff and visitors.

  • Provide assistance while enforcing safety and access protocols.

  • Communicate all relevant issues to supervisors in a timely manner.

Candidate Requirements

  • CP Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a must

  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driverโ€™s license.

  • Strong observational, communication, and report-writing skills.

  • Must be dependable, especially during overnight hours.

  • Must have your own handgun, and holster
