What kind of training or support can I expect as a no experience care assistant when starting the role?

As a No Experience Care Assistant, you will typically receive comprehensive onboarding and training to help you learn the necessary skills, such as personal care techniques, health and safety procedures, and effective communication with clients. Many employers offer shadowing opportunities, mentorship from experienced staff, and regular supervision meetings to ensure you feel supported and confident in your new role. Ongoing professional development is also common, allowing you to work toward formal care qualifications while on the job. This supportive environment is designed to help you build both competence and confidence, even if you have never worked in care before.
