Job description

  • Verify daily that all Operators and Production Specialists have been certified for the job in which they are assigned.
  • Perform audits to monitor performance of production floor.
  • Verify NMR/Quarantine procedures are followed correctly and in a timely manner. This includes accurate performance of rework.
  • Post Quality Alerts as needed and verify the production floor (Supervisors, Ops, PS, etc) are aware of the postings.
  • Educates and trains employees on quality systems requirements, product quality requirements, procedures, and documentation.
  • Ensures and enforces that quality systems are being followed.
  • Ensures and enforces that quality records are being maintained and archived as required.
  • Develops and maintains sample boards and mating parts.
  • Assists supervisors and employees with quality related issues.
  • Maintains quality lab, documentation and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with any regulatory commission, such as UL.
  • Maintain and issue reporting documentation for Quality costs.
  • Participate with internal and external audits.
  • Supports customer relationships including setting expectations for standards, corrective actions, and customer requirements.
  • Assist with the creation of control plans, SPC, Disposition of Product.
  • Assist with inventory and NMR toggling.
  • Supports complaints/CARS
  • Supervises Quality system and/or quality personnel.
  • Must demonstrate and maintain minimum classification of “Average” on Munsell Hue Test to make color based decisions. (Range Boards, MRB’s)
  • HACCP Team Member if name defined on HACCP Plan(s)
