Job description

Responsibilities:
• Looking for a highly motivated individual who will support an experienced BioNMR team in fragment-based NMR screening, fragment-based lead discovery, and the detailed evaluation of ligand-protein interactions in state-of-the-art BioNMR laboratories. This will involve the handling of chemical compound libraries and the preparation of small molecule-protein NMR screening samples and small molecule NMR QC samples using liquid handling robotics, the manipulation of chemical samples for NMR and other analytical methods, analysis of QC data, documenting and reporting analytical results in spreadsheets and chemical databases.
Qualifications:
• A BS or MS degree or equivalent in Analytical Chemistry or a related field is required.
• Excellent laboratory skills in analytical chemistry or a related field are critical.
• Experience in chemical compound handling, purification and characterization is a must.
• Background in analytical chemistry using NMR would be an advantage.
• Ability to work on different projects in parallel is required.
• The successful candidate should show a desire to learn and implement new methods and apply them to answer scientific questions.
• Ability to work in a team and interact with colleagues in a multidisciplinary environment is important.
