Technical Sales Representative

ย

Benchtop NMR (South Central, USA)

Own a high-growth scientific territory. Sell innovative technology. Build something meaningful.

Nanalysis Corp. is a global leader in high-performance benchtop NMR spectrometers used in academic research, industrial QC/QA, process control, and government laboratories in over 50 countries. Weโ€™re expanding our U.S. commercial team and looking for a driven Technical Sales Representative to build and grow the Mountain West territory.

This is not an order-taking role. This is a territory-building opportunity.

Why This Role Is Different

  • Youโ€™ll represent a unique, high-value analytical technology, not a commodity.
  • Youโ€™ll work directly with chemists, researchers, and decision-makers.
  • Youโ€™ll have real ownership of a multi-state territory with strong growth potential.
  • Youโ€™ll earn uncapped commissions tied directly to your performance.

If youโ€™re entrepreneurial, technically sharp, and motivated by both science and income potential, this role offers significant upside.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Drive new instrument sales across academic, industrial, and government accounts.
  • Develop and execute a territory growth strategy.
  • Manage and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Deliver on-site and virtual product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with Applications Chemists to run customer samples and present results.
  • Present both business and technical value propositions.
  • Organize regional Lunch & Learns and attend key trade shows.
  • Maintain accurate CRM forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Contribute to ongoing marketing and business strategy discussions.

Youโ€™ll receive structured onboarding and product training from our Sales and Applications Chemistry teams to ensure you can confidently represent both the science and the business value.

Territory

Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Ohio, Tennessee, Wisconsin

Support from Manufacturerโ€™s Representatives in all states.

This territory offers strong upside and long-term expansion opportunity.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Chemistry (required)
  • Experience selling scientific, analytical, or capital equipment (strong asset)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong communicator comfortable speaking with scientists and executives
  • Data-driven and confident managing a sales pipeline independently
  • Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally internationally
  • Based in a major metro area within the territory preferred

Compensation & Benefits

On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000โ€“$120,000+

  • Competitive base salary
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • KPI-based performance bonuses
  • Significant upside for over-performance

Additional benefits:

  • Company laptop + cellphone allowance
  • Mileage and travel reimbursement
  • 15 days vacation + all US Federal holidays
  • Health, vision, dental, and drug benefits (after 90 days)

High performers will materially exceed target compensation.
