Job description

Job Summary:
As a Nissan Service Technician at Nissan Williamsburg, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our customers' vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, conducting routine maintenance services, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a full-time, individual contributor position in the auto industry, located in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary of $18 to $40 per hour, paid semimonthly. In addition, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and employee discounts on vehicles and services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle inspections and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and fix problems
- Provide accurate and timely repair estimates to customers
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and provide recommendations
- Keep detailed records of all repairs and services performed
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Attend training sessions to stay up-to-date on new technologies and techniques
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nissan technician preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in automotive repair and service
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
