In this role, you'll perform specialized health screenings and provide crucial services to patients at our clinics, client sites, or mobile units. Key Responsibilities
As an Employee Health Technician, you will:
  • Conduct spirometry tests following NIOSH guidelines and audiometric tests adhering to CAOHC standards.
  • Perform respiratory fit testing following OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain and calibrate vital equipment, ensuring it's safe and ready for use, including Spirometers, Audiometers, and PortaCounts.
  • Manage inventory and ensure our mobile units and clinics are fully stocked with medical and office supplies.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as patient registration, scheduling, and correspondence.
  • Represent CAREonsite at special events and develop cooperative working relationships with clients.
  • Ensure the mobile unit is compliant with DOT regulations and maintains vehicle cleanliness.
  • Perform drug and alcohol testing in compliance with DOT guidelines.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking candidates who are organized, reliable, and committed to quality healthcare services.
Qualifications:
  • CAOHC Audiometry Screening certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months).
  • NIOSH Spirometry Screening certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months).
  • Clean DMV record and ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License within 6 months of employment.
  • Drug collection and breath alcohol testing certification (current or willingness to obtain).
  • Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, including extended shifts, overnight travel, and back-to-back shifts.

Special Skills:
  • Strong clerical and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
