WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
As the Principal, Global Sales for Nike Basketball, you contribute to the commercial voice in the Global Nike Basketball team and support the development of the Signature Athlete strategy including the go-to-market process across the globe. In this role you will be working with sales management, the x-functional Nike Basketball team as well as geography sales teams. As a result it is critical to have strong communication skills, ensure stakeholders are up-to-date at all teams and you excel at influencing those around you. This role will report to the Senior Director, Global Sales, Nike Basketball.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate for this role has a strong affinity with basketballl, has proven experience in the area of Go-to-market management, distribution strategy and/or sales, has a strong bias for action and proven influencing and communication skills.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
As the Principal, Global Sales for Nike Basketball, you are the commercial voice in the Global Nike Basketball team and responsible for developing, applying & overseeing the sales strategy and go-to-market process for Nike Basketball across the globe. This role with work specifically with Global Athlete Busienss team focusing on Signature Athlete Strategies. You are accountable for executing and analyzing business plans, budgets, and performance targets as well as initiating and executing account engagements, building marketplace plans and providing go-to-market direction. You will propose and ensure the execution of strategies, programs, and processes to achieve revenue targets, retail sales targets and strong brand positioning while contributing to commercial sales planning and decision-making. You will be responsible for cross-functional influencing across Global and geography.
  • Commercial Strategies: You will develop 3-year, annual & seasonal commercial strategies through the lens of channels , signature athletes & partners in support of driving the Global Nike Basketball business. You will partner with Nike's four geographies to shape this strategy and ensure successful execution in each geo.
  • Marketplace Expansion: You will partner with key geographies, territories and cities to expand distribution and ensure Nike Basketball has adequate coverage across the globe.
  • Distribution planning: You will work closely with the geography sales teams to determine distribution plans and align on marketplace segmentation
  • Seasonal Readiness: You will lead the strategy/planning of the seasonal go-to-market process and influence the creation & delivery of critical sales tools in support of the sales teams in the geographies.
  • Partner engagements: You will initiate, plan & lead critical partner engagements (ie.; product engagements & summits) with our most important partners across the globe in order to strengthen our relationship and collaborate together throughout the go-to-market process.
  • Marketplace execution: You will be responsible for making sure that seasonal product priorities land with impact across the global marketplace and you partner across merchandising and brand to bring this to life through assortment & marketing
  • Retail elevation: You will work closely with x-functional teams like marketplace development and retail marketing making sure must-win destinations across the global marketplace are elevated to ensure best-in-class consumer experiences
