WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
We are looking for a Senior Merchant of Nike Value Stores/Rebuys focused on Sport Apparel and Accessories as a part of the Global Nike Direct Merchandising Team. You will work closely with fellow merchants and cross-functional teams including Product, Planning, Nike Direct and Geo Merchandising. We also work with finance, operations and the insights/analytics teams; relying on business reporting for your area which includes quantitative and qualitative metrics on sales, inventory and consumer behaviors.

  • Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
  • 3-5 years' experience in merchandising, product creation, and or retail, in a vertical or wholesale environment
  • Experience creating line plans and assortments
  • Understanding of retail key performance indicators and profit based metrics
  • Strong strategy building skills that shape the future of the business
  • Effective communicator and collaborator who can effectively influence and align teammates around a strategy/goal
  • Ability to partner with key collaborators (Product, Planning, Global Sport Merchandising, Planning, Geo Merchandising)

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
As a Senior Merchant on the Global Merchandising team, you will be responsible for managing a large, growing and profitable business across four geographies. You will manage multiple product engines and look across multiple genders and Sports. You'll use marketplace data, consumer insights, foresight, and hindsight to make decisions, influence and develop seasonal plans to serve our consumer. You'll provide qualitative and quantitative insights to the Product Creation teams, the counterparts on Global Merchandising teams across Sports and Nike Direct teams.
You'll lead the management of our merchandising KPIs through robust analysis of retail insights and performance. You'll build positive and trustworthy relationships with your partners (including Product, Planning, Global SportMerchants, Geo Merchants, among others) to build and land assortments that meet the needs of consumers, take them to a new place, and differentiate the key points of distribution across key cities. You'll work with your cross-functional team to maintain the optimal balance between a pull and push market.
