Supported by a team of professionals skilled in design, sourcing, production, sales, marketing & distribution of premium quality children's wear, Haddad distributes globally to 100+ countries and maintains sales and sourcing offices in 22 cities globally, including New York, Paris, Hilversum, Shanghai, Egypt, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and Montreal. 


Overview:


The Product Integrity Manager will ensure global execution of Haddad Brand's chemical management and product integrity program vision to meet and exceed the product safety & compliance expectations of its licensors.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Remain current on industry, licensor and global product integrity obligations/developments to manage product going into each region
  • Strategize and develop standards, train expectations, and monitor new factories to ensure factory-based compliance
  • Assist global teams to ensure factories consistently demonstrate safe manufacturing processes
  • Analyze audit & test results to ensure compliance regarding chemical and safety requirements
  • Manage failure remediation, administrate root cause analyses, and develop future preventative measures
  • Partner with Haddad overseas testing coordinators as necessary to troubleshoot and pass seasonal testing and documentation requirements
  • Conduct seasonal product risk assessments to support product safety across all brands, while troubleshooting with Sourcing and engaging Design
  • Identify, troubleshoot and elevate systems and process constraints that impede program progress as needed
  • Develop effective working partnerships with peers in Sourcing, Design, overseas Merchandising, Quality Assurance teams, licensors and Third Party Service Providers to support program execution
  • Cultivate essential skills needed to recruit, train and develop top talent
  • Special projects as assigned

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities/Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management or apparel-related Sciences
  • 3-5+ years of experience in designing, developing or manufacturing children's wear (experience in garment manufacturing environment a plus)
  • Strong mastery of international safety regulations affecting children's apparel products & accessories
  • Self-starter/multi-tasker with ability to problem-solve in a fast paced business environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively with remote and multi-cultural teams
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and database management
  • Basic knowledge of foundational chemistry
  • Experience with AS400 database and/or PLM a plus
