Job description

Registered Nurse - Rapid Response - Full Time - Midnights

Schedule: 3 - 12 Hour Shifts, 7pm - 730am, every other weekend and rotating holidays

Department: Rapid Response, Hospital: Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital, Location: Southfield, MI

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Job duties will include responding to Rapid Response call and Code Blue calls. When available, will also assist in transport of critical care patients from the ED to the ICUs or GPUs to ICUs, as well as accompanying ICU patients off the unit to tests/procedures. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting with difficult IV starts/blood draws, assisting with admissions in all IPD areas, and assisting with ICU bedside procedures.

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current State of Michigan License is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, required.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE REQUIRED:

  • Current BLS and ACLS certification, required.
