Job description

General Information:
Job title: Long-term Care Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Fair View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center - Mauston, WI
Shifts Available:
  • Part-time 1, 72 hours per pay period; PM Shift - 2:00pm - 10:30pm
  • Part-time 1, 48 hours per pay period; NOC Shift - 10:00pm - 6:30am
  • Part-time 2, 16 hours per pay period; Day Shift - 6:00am - 2:30pm

Weekend rotation: Shifts include every other weekend, weekend and night shift differentials available
Holiday rotation: Holiday rotation
Position Summary:
Performs resident functions in accordance to nursing home standards of practice.
Position Responsibilities:
  1. Provides for resident's personal hygiene: gives bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves, and assists with showers.
  2. Provides for activities of daily living: assists with meals and feeds patients; ambulates, turns, and positions patients; provides fresh water and nourishment between meals.
  3. Performs I&O; checks vital signs and weight; assists with specimen collection; and post-mortem care.
  4. Provides for comfort needs of residents
  5. Promptly answers resident's call lights and requests.
  6. Other duties are requested within scope of practice

Position Requirements:
Required Education:
  • Successful completion of nursing assistant course
  • Certified Nursing Assistant Certification to practice in the state
  • Night Shift - current BLS required.
