Night Shift Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Night Shift - 12-hour shifts, three times a week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The nurse will work in a 28-bed unit specializing in cardiac care, managing patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and other related issues. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring and administering cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to cardiac patients in the PCU/IMCU.
  • Monitor patient conditions and vital signs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Assist in the management of telemetry beds as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years documented experience in a similar sized Progressive Care Unit.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
