Quality Control Inspector - Mid & Night Shift
We are an AISC certified fabricator seeking experienced Quality Inspectors for both our mid and night shift teams. These are stable, long-term positions offering consistent hours, regular overtime, and Saturday shifts as needed. We are committed to employee development through ongoing training and AISC certified fabricator coursework. Qualified candidates must have hands-on welding experience, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
  • Read, interpret, and explain blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Inspect parts, welds, and assemblies for quality and conformance.
  • Document and report non-conformances per company procedures.
  • Support production tracking and maintain accurate inspection records.
  • Communicate findings clearly to production staff and management.

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Hands-on welding experience with knowledge of common weld defects.
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
  • Familiarity with company quality standards and procedures.
  • Available to work mid or night shift, including extended hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
  • Experience with Tekla software.
  • Knowledge of welding codes (e.g., AWS D1.1) and basic inspection tools.
  • Familiarity with non-conformance reporting systems.
