  • Compensation: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience + night shift differential)

Are you passionate about supporting individuals on their journey to long-term healing? Cherry Hills Recovery, a startup residential and outpatient treatment program operated by Ignitus Recovery, is seeking dedicated Mental/Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) to join our collaborative care team.

In this role, you will be on the front lines of client care, helping maintain a safe, trauma-informed, and gender-responsive environment. This position is an exceptional opportunity to help shape a premier substance use and mental health treatment program from the ground up while making a direct, daily impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Safety & Supervision: Monitor client safety, behaviors, and program participation throughout 12-hour shifts; conduct regular milieu checks and maintain precise documentation.

  • Program Support: Assist with client orientation, enforce schedule structure, and uphold community accountability and expectations.

  • Crisis Management: Utilize trauma-responsive de-escalation techniques to prevent and manage crises.

  • Clinical Collaboration: Facilitate basic psychoeducational groups as directed by clinical staff and communicate critical observations to the medical team.

  • Daily Operations: Support medication administration (QMAP) in compliance with state regulations, assist with meal prep, manage facility upkeep, and handle client transportation when required.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Certifications: Active QMAP certification, or the immediate ability to obtain and maintain it.

  • Compliance: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass comprehensive federal, state, and county background checks.

  • Ability to pass drug screening

  • Core Competencies: Strong professional boundaries, basic understanding of addiction/trauma care, and clear documentation skills.

  • Lived Experience: Experience navigating personal recovery circles, peer-support frameworks, or working as a peer-navigator is highly valued and preferred.
